Course Description: Coaching and Mentoring (EDUC 364)

The Coaching and Mentoring unit is a pivotal component of the pedagogical curriculum for the Diploma in Technical Instructor Education and Diploma in Technical Trainer Education at Bukura Agricultural College. Designed to prepare graduates for leadership and instructional roles within TVET colleges and higher education institutions, the course equips trainees with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively support staff and fellow trainees. The curriculum critically examines the distinction between coaching and mentoring, exploring their core principles, diverse styles, and prominent theoretical models.
